TOGETHER WITH ADOBE
AI is changing how customers discover brands—and shortening the conversion funnel. Visitors arriving from AI channels convert at 31% higher rates, yet 80% of companies have major gaps in how they surface across LLMs.
Adobe Brand Visibility gives teams a complete platform to measure, optimize, and scale their Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy:
Measure & Monitor: Connect LLM referral traffic directly to business revenue and track AI-generated brand claims.
Act & Improve: Deploy AI-friendly content updates instantly at the CDN layer with zero-code edge optimization.
Scale Across Teams: Bring SEO, PR, marketing and more together with shared workflows and real-time alerts.
When Adobe applied GEO discipline to Adobe.com, Firefly citations jumped 5x and LLM referral traffic increased 41% within weeks.
Stop letting AI systems shape your reputation before customers reach your site.
Latest in AI
More than 1,000 employees from OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, and Google, including OpenAI's chief scientist, Anthropic cofounders, and senior executives across major labs, signed an open letter urging the US government to support an international effort to deliberately slow frontier AI development. The letter comes after OpenAI disclosed last week that two test models escaped their lab environment, accessed the open internet, and hacked another company's internal system.
The signees warned "capability development rapidly accelerates beyond our ability to understand or control the resulting systems," calling for coordinated mechanisms to buy time for safety measures and oversight to catch up with progress.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said Tuesday the company may need to pace AI development to give society time "to harden around these new capability levels," echoing the letter's core argument about controlled progress.
Google DeepMind CEO Demis Hassabis has called for a new international standards body to set protocols for AI models, an idea endorsed by Altman, Musk, and Microsoft's Satya Nadella.
For enterprise leaders, this represents a rare moment of industry-wide alignment on risk management. When the companies racing to ship new capabilities publicly advocate for brakes, executives should interpret it as a signal to strengthen internal AI governance now, not after the next capability jump. The employees signing this letter are the ones building the systems your company will deploy next quarter.

THE BUSINESS BRIEFING: CUSTOMER SUPPORT (powered by Upscaile)
Ugaoo (India's largest online plant store, 16 physical locations) was drowning in 15,000+ monthly support tickets across WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, email, web chat, and phone. A third were delivery questions. The rest required actual plant knowledge: diagnosing yellow leaves from a photo, explaining care routines, processing damage claims against a 30-day guarantee. Their team worked 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM. Customers messaged past 10 PM. They deployed Myra, an AI support agent trained on their full catalog, care protocols, and replacement policies, connected directly to Shopify, courier tracking, and their PlantFix claims portal.
Tool used: Sagepilot -- AI employee that handles support across chat, social, and voice with live system access.
Result: 80% of tickets now resolved by AI. Response time dropped to 3 seconds. Customer rating hit 4.07/5 for AI conversations. Resolution rate climbed from 65% in May to 80% by July.
The lesson: The AI works because it can actually do things, not just answer questions. Myra checks real shipment status, files replacement claims, and calls customers when deliveries fail. Read-only chatbots create more work. System access creates resolution.
Steal this: Map one support workflow where the answer requires checking another system (order status, account details, inventory). If your bot can't pull that data and take action, you're just adding a middleman. Connect the systems or don't bother automating.
TOGETHER WITH SCRIBE
You secured the AI budget and the board mandate. Now the payoff hinges on aiming it at the right workflows — usually the ones you can't see. Scribe Optimize captures how work actually moves across your org and maps it automatically, so you deploy AI where the impact shows.
Trusted by 94% of the Fortune 500.
THE HUMAN & AI DE BRIEF

Time moves differently when you're not watching it. You chain the weeks together, one into the next, and somewhere around month four or five you look up and realize you can't quite account for where you've been.
Some of us pause at mid-year. Companies do it too. The structure exists — the review, the retrospective, the all-hands. The calendar holds the date.
Byung-Chul Han makes a distinction worth sitting with: a routine optimizes, a ritual marks. AI is extraordinary at the first one. The second one has to be chosen — every time, on purpose — in a way it never had to be before.
What happens to your team when no one makes that choice is in this week's piece.
THE POLICY CORNER
EU delays high-risk AI compliance deadlines by up to two years following industry pushback.
The EU AI Act Amendment took effect July 27, 2026, extending compliance timelines after regulators acknowledged delayed standards and guidance made the original August 2026 deadline unworkable. High-risk AI systems under Annex III now have until December 2027 to comply; those under Annex I product legislation get until August 2028. Transparency requirements for synthetic content generation also shift to December 2026. One new prohibition lands immediately: AI systems generating non-consensual intimate material are banned as of December 2026.
Deadline: High-risk Annex III systems: December 2, 2027. High-risk Annex I systems: August 2, 2028. Synthetic content transparency: December 2, 2026.
Risk: Fines up to 3% of global annual turnover or €15M for supply chain cooperation failures. Non-compliant high-risk systems face market withdrawal.
Your move: Update your compliance roadmap this week. The extension gives you breathing room, not a free pass. Use it to align internal processes with incoming harmonised standards expected late 2026.

The Money: Big tech and big capital lock arms on AI infrastructure
Hyperscalers are no longer building alone. This week's largest AI deals paired tech operators with institutional investors, signaling that AI infrastructure has matured into an asset class requiring balance-sheet firepower most tech companies can't deploy solo. Meta tapped BlackRock for a $14B data center venture in Texas. NAVER, NVIDIA, and Brookfield committed $10B to scale Korea's sovereign AI factory to 200 megawatts by 2028.
Deals to know:
Meta + BlackRock (Joint venture, $14B total development) -- 1 GW data center campus in El Paso, Texas. BlackRock takes 80% ownership with $12.5B debt financing. Capacity online 2028. Investors: BlackRock, GIP, HPS Investment Partners
NAVER + NVIDIA + Brookfield (Strategic investment, $10B) -- Expanding Korea's sovereign AI factory to 200 MW, path to 1 GW. NVIDIA investing $1B into NAVER, Brookfield funding up to $9B. Investors: NVIDIA, Brookfield
Signal: The AI infrastructure buildout has outgrown tech company balance sheets. Institutional capital is now co-piloting compute expansion, which means AI infrastructure returns are competing for pension fund allocations, not just venture dollars.
