Even fast typists hit a ceiling. Speaking doesn't have one. A reply that takes three minutes to type takes about 30 seconds to say. Wispr Flow turns the way you naturally talk into text that's ready to send, in any app, on any device. Hold a key, speak, and polished text lands right where your cursor is.
Clear your Slack and iMessage backlog between meetings
Write full emails in Gmail without losing your train of thought
Capture ideas on your phone while walking or commuting
There's nothing to set up and nothing to integrate. It works in Slack, Gmail, Notion, ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor, on Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android. Pick the next message you were about to type and say it instead.

Amazon issued internal guidelines discouraging software engineers from "tokenmaxxing," the practice of using AI tools excessively without regard for output quality or cost. The company called metrics like token usage and code generation "deeply flawed" measures of AI adoption in a memo posted publicly after internal circulation in September.
Amazon shut down an internal leaderboard in May after discovering employees were gaming the system by maximizing token usage to climb rankings, with no correlation to actual productivity gains.
The memo emphasized that engineers should not use AI when it doesn't improve their work, stating "if your work does not benefit from current AI tooling, that is a finding, not a failing."
Instead of tracking token volume, Amazon now measures "feature velocity"—successful production launches and meaningful customer-facing changes—as the real indicator of whether AI tools deliver ROI.
Amazon's pivot away from token-based metrics signals a broader shift in how enterprises should evaluate AI productivity tools. Companies racing to adopt AI are discovering that usage volume doesn't equal value, and rising costs without clear returns force a more disciplined approach. For business leaders, this is a reminder that blind AI adoption creates waste—strategic deployment tied to measurable outcomes wins.
THE DEPLOYMENT REPORT
Sponsored by Agentic Brain, see how they're automating deployment →

Steal this: Pull your last 90 days of IT tickets and calculate what percentage are Tier 1 or routine work. If it's above 40%, you're bleeding engineering hours on automatable tasks. Run a second filter: measure your current mean time to resolution (MTTR) for tickets that don't require custom fixes. If MTTR exceeds 4 hours, map your top five ticket types by volume and identify which can be resolved through self-service or automation. Deploy virtual agents for those categories first, then measure MTTR reduction before scaling to complex workflows.

Google DeepMind shipped Genie 4, a real-time world simulation model that generates photorealistic environments with native audio—including ambient sounds and interactive dialogue—while running continuously as users navigate and modify scenes through text prompts. The model integrates capabilities from the Gemini family: Gemini Omni grounds simulations in real-world appearance and physics, while other Gemini models provide reasoning to maintain coherence across multi-step events.
Why it matters: This marks Google's first real-time world model to generate audio natively and simulate complex human behavior with interactive dialogue. Early enterprise partners are testing Genie 4 for scenario generation before building physical systems, potentially compressing months of pre-production work into rapid iteration cycles.
THE MONEY
As GPU prices face downward pressure and neocloud consolidation looms, investors are backing software that makes existing chips work harder—not companies stockpiling more hardware. Two deals this week show capital chasing optimization over expansion as enterprises demand better economics from AI workloads.
Deals to know:
Simplismart (Series B, $14M at ~$100M valuation) -- AI inference optimization software that cut InVideo's GPU costs 56%. Grew ARR 14x in six months serving HeyGen, Higgsfield, and Ema. Investors: Nvidia, Accel, Dallas Venture Capital
General Compute (Series A, $100M at $800M valuation) -- Neocloud built on inference chips (SambaNova, Cerebras, Positron) instead of GPUs. Landed $100M ARR customer, targets 75 MW deployment in 2027. Investors: Blackbird Ventures, Abstract Ventures
Signal: Nvidia backing software that reduces GPU dependency signals the market's shifting from capacity accumulation to utilization efficiency. Companies solving inference economics will command premium valuations as enterprises prioritize TCO over raw speed.

FROM THE AI REPORT PRO
In this week’s live session, the Agentic Brain team walked through Claude artifacts, including when to use them and how to create them. They demonstrated building a workshop budget calculator as an interactive artifact, complete with venue suggestions, catering options, and a seating chart that updates as you change the settings.
The catch: Claude won’t add features you don’t ask for, and it fills any gaps with its own assumptions, so spell out everything up front. Pro members can watch the full recording.
