According to a leaked internal presentation—made public by the Washington Post—the US ‘Department of Government Efficiency’ (DOGE), which Elon Musk previously led, is deploying an "AI Deregulation Decision Tool" designed to help federal agencies identify and create a “delete list” of government regulations that are no longer needed.
The DOGE wants to halve existing regulations by September 1st, and its AI Deregulation Decision Tool has (reportedly) analyzed 200,000 mandated federal regulations and added 100,000 to the “delete list.”
The tool has reviewed regulations from Housing and Urban Development, where it’s made “decisions on 1,083 regulatory sections”, and has written “100% of deregulations” for the Consumer-Financial-Protection Bureau.
According to the White House, “the work [to cut unnecessary regulations to improve efficiency] is in its early stages”, and although “no plans have been approved,” the experts creating them “are the brightest in the business.”
This is the latest attempt by DOGE to integrate AI into its processes, after previously launching an AI coding tool for the Department of Veterans Affairs that was reportedly error-prone (it used to hallucinate the size of Veterans Affairs contracts). And, it seems like the "AI Deregulation Decision Tool" might follow in its footsteps: Several Housing and Urban Development employees have revealed that the AI frequently misunderstands legal language and misidentifies rules, leaving many concerned over its reliability and ability to make key policy decisions.
Data brokers sell personal info—often for less than a dollar.
What’s publicly available:
Current & past addresses
Mobile numbers (even outdated ones)
Family connections
Employment history
Property records
Court documents
This information is bundled and sold to anyone willing to pay. Even ChatGPT can return surprising details when asked about someone with an online presence.
This isn’t paranoia—it’s probability:
1 in 4 Americans experience identity theft
$1,100 average loss per incident
Over 200 hours to recover
Manually opting out of data brokers is exhausting—195+ forms, 30+ hours, and records often reappear.
Incogni automates the process:
✅ Contacts data brokers
✅ Forces data deletion
✅ Monitors & re-removes data

ServiceNow—a software company specializing in digital workflow solutions—was struggling to scale its workforce to meet operational demands.
It integrated AI solutions into its internal operations to automate routine tasks and provide deeper insights for better decision-making.
As a result, it reduced the number of planned hires, saving $100M, and enhanced productivity in customer service and software development.
It also allowed staff to focus on more strategic tasks and improved service delivery speed and accuracy, strengthening its position in the market.

OpenAI CEO, Sam Altman, has warned people who use ChatGPT as a therapist that their chats are not private or legally protected, and that deleted chats can still be retrieved for legal or security reasons.
According to Altman, “young people, especially, use [ChatGPT] - as a therapist or coach,” but “if you talk to a therapist, lawyer, or doctor… there's doctor-patient protection…we haven't figured that out for ChatGPT."
There’s no legal framework or legal protection for conversations between ChatGPT and a user. Altman said this could create issues in a lawsuit, as OpenAI would be legally required to produce the conversations.
Meta’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg, has announced that former OpenAI researcher—Shengjia Zhao—will be the Chief Scientist of Meta’s new AI unit—Meta Superintelligence Labs (MSL).
Zhao, who, according to Zuckerberg, co-founded MSL, has played a huge part in many of OpenAI’s breakthroughs, including co-creating the original ChatGPT, GPT-4, and o1 (OpenAI’s first reasoning model).
He’ll join Alexandr Wang (ex Scale CEO), who is Meta’s new Chief AI Officer and is the latest hire in Zuckerberg’s hiring spree, which has seen him hire 16+ engineers from rivals, including Apple, Google, and OpenAI.
