Our Report: Humane's innovative 'AI Pin' recently made its debut on the Paris runway, with supermodel Naomi Campbell being the first individual outside of Humane to sport the pin publicly.
🔑 Key Points:
Humane was founded in 2017 by ex-Apple employees, and during the 5/6 years since its inception the company has been largely shrouded in mystery—only revealing in June that their inaugural product would be the ‘AI pin’.
The 'AI Pin' is described as a standalone, screenless device integrated with a software platform, designed to effortlessly integrate into daily life—embodying a new paradigm of passive, AI-driven computing (the first step towards Neuralink).
Supermodel Naomi Campbell sported the 'AI Pin,' making her the first individual outside of Humane to publicly wear the device—highlighting the teams’ commitment to design and aesthetics.
Most impressive is their ability to raise substantial funding (over $246M) from influential backers (including Sam Altman) without a single customer. As of March this year, they were valued at over $846M.
