LATEST IN AI
🚨 Our Report — Meta has revealed that 2025 “will be a defining year for AI,” as it plans to invest between $60-$65B in AI infrastructure, development, and hiring.
🔓 Key Points:
Meta will build a 2-gigawatt data center, “so large it will cover a significant part of Manhattan,” and will end the year with 1.3M AI chips to “unlock historic innovation, and extend American technology leadership.”
They also plan to build an AI engineer to increase coding efforts, grow their AI teams, expect Meta AI to serve 1B people, and make its new LLM (currently in development) Llama 4, a "leading state-of-the-art model".
$65B is a 50% increase from its 2024 spending, and after Zuckerberg made the announcement, its share prices rose by 1.7% (to an all-time high of $647.49), reflecting a healthy optimism from analysts.
🔐 Relevance — This comes after Zuckerberg revealed that, although he feels Meta and its competitors “are probably “overbuilding” and overspending on AI, he thinks they’re actually “making a rational decision” as the risk of losing $$$ is better than missing a major step-change in tech as “the downside of being behind is that you’re out of position for like the most important technology for the next 10 to 15 years.”
TOGETHER WITH INCOGNI
You’ve likely received a sketchy call, text, or email asking for $$$. It might've been easy to spot, but with deepfakes and AI, scams are getting trickier.
Scammers use your personal data, often bought legally from data brokers who sell your phone number, DOB, SSN, and more. Incogni scrubs your data from the web, taking on 200+ data brokers on your behalf.
Unlike others, Incogni deletes your info from all broker types, including people search sites where anyone can get your details for a few bucks.

🚨 Our Report — The colossal $100B Stargate joint venture (announced by President Trump as one of his day 1 initiatives following his inauguration back into office last week), which will build a slew of AI data centers across the US, to meet rising demand for AI compute power, will be partly powered by solar energy and batteries.
🔓 Key Points:
The renewable energy facilities powering the data centers will be built by SB Energy, a subsidiary of SoftBank (a partner in the joint venture, alongside OpenAI and Oracle), which specializes in renewable power installations.
The first phase of the project (which is reportedly already underway, as OpenAI CEO Sam Altman invited Stargate naysayer, Elon Musk, to visit) involves building 10 data centers in Texas.
This comes after the US Department of Energy estimated that data centers could consume around 12% of all US-produced power by 2028 (a 4.4% increase from 2023), leaving 50% of new data centers underpowered by 2027.
🔐 Relevance — This also comes after Trump hinted that he might use “emergency declarations” to expedite the development of the data centers “to make it possible to get production done very easily” and “get this stuff built,” meaning the approval process for getting these data centers connected to the grid (which is the most time-consuming part), may be quicker than anticipated.
World (formerly Worldcoin)—a venture run by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman—which aims to use iris scans to authenticate humans online reliably, wants to create a digital “proof of human” tool.
Altman believes that, soon, it’ll be impossible to distinguish humans from AI agents, so he wants to build a tool that, after scanning an eye with a metal orb, will give a unique identifier, to verify if someone’s a human or an AI agent.
It will also enable users to verify that an AI agent can complete tasks on their behalf, which is “super important” as—with the rise of AI agents—it could eventually allow people to control a whole network of them.

CASE STUDY
Asana’s engineering team was drowning in recurring meetings which was impacting their ability to do any deep, focused work.
They started using Clockwise—an AI-powered calendar management system—which automatically optimized meetings to preserve blocks of focus work.
But it didn’t just move meetings it learned from patterns to resolve inefficiencies, over time.
As a result, 83,000 meetings were rescheduled, and they secured 26,388+ hours of additional focus time.
