Our Report: Microsoft Copilot is now available as a ChatGPT-like app on Android after the team released a dedicated version on the Google Play Store (+1 point for having an Android).
🔑 Key Points:
This app allows users to access Microsoft’s AI-powered Copilot without needing the Bing mobile app. This comes just a month after Microsoft rebranded Bing Chat to Copilot, clearly trying to upgrade its messaging to be more in line with AI and futuristic notions.
The Copilot app features chatbot capabilities, image generation with DALL-E 3, and drafting text for emails and documents. Furthermore, It includes access to GPT-4 without requiring any payment or subscription.
Lastly, while the iOS version isn't available yet, the Android app marks a significant step in Microsoft’s AI integrations strategy (and you can still use the Bing app without the rebranded copilot on iPhone).
