TOGETHER WITH FARSIGHT
AI can generate insights instantly — but translating them into client-ready materials for investment banks and PE firms still requires manual execution.
Slides, comps, buyer lists, and data rooms don’t assemble themselves.
Farsight is a deliverable-first AI platform.
It reasons through financial narratives and produces the actual artifacts teams use — not notes, not summaries.
With Farsight, teams generate:
Fully formatted CIMs and pitch decks
Rationale-backed comps and benchmarking
Buyer lists, strip profiles, and data room outputs
Excel backups with firm-style formatting and logic
Built by ex-bankers and investors, Farsight behaves less like ChatGPT and more like a junior deal team that actually finishes the job.
This isn’t research. Its execution.
Latest in AI
Universal Music Group has partnered with AI chipmaker NVIDIA to develop AI tools for music discovery, fan engagement, and artist creation, the companies announced on January 6. The collaboration centers on NVIDIA's Music Flamingo initiative and includes building an artist incubator focused on helping musicians use AI to enhance their creative processes without replacing human artistry.
NVIDIA's Music Flamingo analyzes music beyond surface-level genres, examining elements like harmony, tempo, instrumentation, emotional resonance, and chord progressions to help fans discover undiscovered music and artists understand their own work at a deeper level.
The partnership will launch a dedicated artist incubator where artists, songwriters, and producers can explore how AI tools enhance their creative workflows, positioning itself as "a direct antidote to generic AI slop outputs" by keeping artists at the center of innovation.
Universal CEO Lucian Grainge said NVIDIA is "choosing to take a leadership position in the tech industry in their commitment to responsible AI principles," which includes protecting copyright, ensuring rightsholder compensation, and identifying copyrighted works in AI applications.
This partnership marks a strategic shift in how major labels approach AI—moving from defensive court disputes to proactive collaboration that attempts to shape AI development around artist interests. The emphasis on "responsible AI" and copyright protection signals that Universal sees controlled partnerships as the most effective approach to securing compensation and creative control as AI reshapes music discovery and creation.

Case Study
Microsoft, a US technology company, faced rising strain in its support centers. The team struggled to manage routine inquiries at scale.
The challenge persisted because smaller customer interactions consumed staff time. High volumes created uneven workloads that slowed response times.
Microsoft deployed an AI system that handled conversations with smaller customers. It guided customers through issues, gathered information, and resolved straightforward problems.
The approach delivered significant efficiencies. Operational savings exceeded $500M, supported by faster handling of routine inquiries and more focused human involvement.

Reolink has announced the AI Box at CES, a hub powered by Qualcomm's Dragonwing Q8-series chip that enables local AI processing across its camera ecosystem, eliminating the need for cloud subscriptions.
The device supports prompt-based alerts, AI video search for natural language queries like "man in a red jacket," event descriptions ranked by importance, and smart summaries with trends and risk analysis—all processed offline.
By expanding on-device AI to more products, Reolink prioritizes user privacy and accessibility, alongside the latest cameras like the OMVI pan-tilt series and solar-powered Floodlight Cam. Pricing and release dates remain unannounced.
AI News Story
India's Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade extended the public feedback deadline on its "Generative AI & Copyright - Part I" working paper by 30 days to February 6, 2026, signaling the government is carefully weighing input before finalizing a framework that could reshape how AI companies operate globally.
The proposed policy examines how copyright law applies to AI training and deployment. A committee may set royalty percentages based on an AI company's global revenue, payable upon commercialization, allowing firms to use publicly available copyrighted content without prior consent after fees are remitted.
For AI vendors and content creators, this extension provides more runway to influence how India defines training obligations and compensation rules. As one of the world's fastest-growing AI markets, India's framework could set a global precedent for how copyright and AI coexist.
