TOGETHER WITH OUTSKILL
You've probably seen this in your headlines over the past few days: the US government has forced Anthropic to pull its two most powerful models, Mythos and Fable, offline. But do you know why?
Because these models became so powerful that the US government deemed them a national security risk. But here's what people are gatekeeping from you: not using Claude to its full potential is a threat to your job security.
Claude ships new features almost every week: Skills, Connectors, Cowork, Vibe coding
So we found the perfect workshop for you, completely free, that condenses 800+ hours of research and real-world practice into a focused 16-hour curriculum. Introducing the 2-Day Claude AI Mastery Workshop: a live, end-to-end deep dive into Claude plus 10+ AI tools, LLMs and workflows.

Anthropic has launched Claude Sonnet 5, its most agentic Sonnet model yet, narrowing the gap with its higher-end Opus line while launching at significantly lower prices and becoming the default model across Free and Pro plans.
Sonnet 5 delivers performance close to Opus 4.8 at a lower price point, with stronger reasoning, coding, and tool use than Sonnet 4.6, and improved cost efficiency at medium effort levels.
Anthropic says the model shows lower rates of hallucination, sycophancy, and malicious compliance, with cyber safeguards enabled by default and weaker exploit-building capabilities than Opus models.
The model is live across all plans and the Claude API, with introductory pricing of $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens through August 31, 2026.
Sonnet 5 signals a shift in enterprise AI economics: near-Opus capability without Opus pricing. For teams building agents, copilots, or workflow automation, this expands what’s financially viable at scale. Lower cost per unit of reasoning power changes deployment math, particularly for high-volume coding, research, and tool-calling use cases. It also reinforces Anthropic’s strategy of competing on agentic reliability, not just model size.
THE BUSINESS BRIEFING: IT & OPERATIONS (powered by Upscaile)
West Monroe (2,000-person consulting firm) was bleeding billable hours on IT delays. With 80% of staff onsite at client engagements, a slow password reset or software request wasn't just annoying, it came directly off revenue. The firm was stuck scaling support headcount to keep up, burning cash on a 40% higher MSP bill than necessary while provisioning software took 3–4 days. They deployed Moveworks to handle IT and HR support autonomously in Microsoft Teams and Slack, integrated with ServiceNow, Workday, and Salesforce.
Tool used: Moveworks -- AI platform that resolves IT and HR tickets in real time without routing to humans.
Result: Resolved 8,000 tickets and accelerated 4,000 more in year one. Software provisioning dropped from 3–4 days to under 30 minutes. $1.4M in annual MSP cost savings (40% reduction).
The lesson: Support AI works when it meets employees where they already are. West Monroe deployed in Teams and Slack instead of forcing portal adoption. Zero friction means actual usage.
Steal this: Audit your current IT ticket backlog this week. Identify the top 3 repetitive request types (password resets, software access, provisioning). Calculate hours spent handling them manually. If it's over 50 hours/month combined, that's your automation entry point.
TOGETHER WITH UPSCAILE
Right now a few people are experimenting with AI, the rest are hesitant, and there's no shared standard.
Upscaile fixes that in 90 minutes.
It's the same curriculum Arturo Ferreira delivered to 50+ Stanford students, refined across 12+ enterprise teams.
One live virtual session, unlimited attendees, $5,000 flat — while typical workshops charge $500–$1,500 a seat. Your team leaves with prompting frameworks, safe repeatable workflows, and AI applied to your real use cases, plus all the materials to keep.
THE HUMAN & AI DE BRIEF
Someone on your team opened an AI chat last night instead of sending a message to their manager or their colleague. Not because AI is smarter. Not because it’s more efficient. Because bringing that question to a human felt like it might cost them something — their credibility, their standing, their image of competence.
That’s not an AI problem. That’s a culture problem — and it was there long before the tools arrived. Read the full piece to understand what your people needed before AI showed up, and what it’s going to cost if nothing changes.
THE POLICY CORNER
Colorado's AI bias law now requires developers to disclose training data and system limitations to deployers.
SB 26-189 replaced the state's 2024 AI bias law with mandatory disclosure requirements for automated decision-making tools used in hiring, insurance, healthcare, and education. Developers must provide deployers with intended uses, known limitations, training data descriptions, and instructions for use. Deployers must notify consumers before using these tools and offer human review upon request for adverse outcomes.
Deadline: In effect now. Regulations clarifying disclosure requirements expected later this year.
Risk: Both developers and deployers face liability under Colorado's Anti-Discrimination Law, including private lawsuits after administrative remedies are exhausted. Contractual indemnification between parties may not be available.
Your move: If you build or deploy AI tools for consequential decisions, audit your disclosure practices this week. Developers should document training data sources and known limitations before deployer requests arrive. Deployers should confirm their ATS or screening vendors can provide the required documentation.

The Money: AI security bets scale with enterprise agents
Two of this week's largest enterprise AI rounds targeted security infrastructure, not model performance. As enterprises deploy AI agents with system access and autonomous decision rights, investors are backing companies that secure agentic workflows before they break.
Deals to know:
Straiker (Series A, $64M) -- Agentic security platform that discovers, tests, and protects enterprise AI agents in production. 15x revenue growth in under 12 months. Investors: Marathon Management Partners (lead), Citi Ventures, Illuminate Financial, Workday Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, Lightspeed
8090 Labs (Series A, $135M) -- AI coding agent built for corporate programming teams, focused on production-grade code with enterprise controls and audit trails. Founded by Chamath Palihapitiya, who will step in as CEO. Investors: Salesforce Ventures (lead), WndrCo, Craft Ventures, The Production Board, Launch
Signal: Capital is flowing toward securing autonomous systems, not just building them. Expect agent security platforms to command premium valuations as deployment accelerates past governance capability.
