Founded with Purpose (1943)


Fisher Phillips was established in November 1943 in Atlanta by I. Walter "Ike" Fisher. Erle Phillips joined the firm in 1949, forming the namesake partnership. From the beginning, the firm was among the first U.S. law firms singularly dedicated to representing employers in labor and employment matters.
